Ingredients

1 cup natural peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup ground flaxseed

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional, for a touch of sweetness)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans—optional)

1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup). Stir well until smooth and creamy.

Add the rolled oats, ground flaxseed, vanilla extract, and sea salt to the bowl. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.

If using, fold in the dark chocolate chips, chopped nuts, and shredded coconut into the mixture until evenly distributed.

Once the mixture is combined, use your hands to form small balls about 1 inch in diameter. You can adjust the size based on your preference, but keep them uniform for even energy bites.

Place the formed balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the balls to firm up.

After chilling, transfer the peanut butter energy balls to an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator for up to one week. Enjoy a healthy snack anytime!
