4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1 lb fresh broccoli florets

6 tablespoons unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

      Season the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

        Prepare Broccoli: In a bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them out on one side of the prepared baking sheet.

          Melt the Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes until garlic is fragrant but not browned.

            Arrange the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on the other side of the baking sheet. Brush generously with the garlic butter mixture, reserving a small amount for drizzling later.

              Bake: Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the broccoli is tender and slightly crisp.

                Garnish and Serve: Drizzle any remaining garlic butter over the finished salmon and broccoli. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
