4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/2 cup fresh basil pesto (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.

      Sear the Chicken: In an oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned chicken breasts and sear each side for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
